Win 7 usb install

It has been quite sometime since I bought the Lenovo S10e but the number of times that I fully used it can be counted..first the default language was not my own...when you buy that thing , the manufacturer installed unnecessary apps ...and the apps will control the default wi fi and networks ...that hinders me from using it but yesterday there was a limelight.I decided to install the new Windows 7.And this time from a usb flash drive since this pc came with no optical drive.

There are 2 things that you need to do before you do fresh install.
One , is to visit DriverMax's website , download the FREE apps and install it.This apps will do backups for all the drivers that you have in your PC.No need to worry about installing drivers one by one ( I know...I hate that ! I've built PCs all my life ! ).Follow the step by step in DriverMax.It's easy! and later , you can restore all the drivers again to your freshly installed OS.

Two..is to visit WinToFlash website , another free apps which helps you to convert your OS from bootable CD to bootable usb.Download , install and follow the step by step instruction.Make sure you have a genuine Windows DVD available because you will need that when you start converting.
Once all done , you are ready.By the way, this doesn't only apply to Win 7 but can also be used in other OSes.And the usb flash drives need to be more than 1 Gb.

The Atom and 4 Gb flash memory

Complete installation - surprisingly ..full install Windows 7 Ultimate took me 12 mins to complete...must be kidding ...but it did...and another 4-5 mins of restoring the drivers.

My RC copy of Win 7.
Happy it worked well without any hitch ..start up boot less than 8 secs..now this is going to be my notebook !!
